Hello! I'm Lauren H. Baker, a UX & Visual Designer who is currently working in sunny Austin, TX.
Originally hailing from Baltimore, MD with a fine arts background, I studied and graduated from Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Design Communication Design Program in Spring 2014. For the next 6 years, I worked at IBM Design on their software portfolios for Analytics Platform, Watson Data & AI, and Cloud & Cognitive Services. I have since moved to Dell Technologies as a Product Designer to assist building their design presence in Cloud. When not working in the studio, I'm typically found browsing Book People or Half Price Books for my next read, traveling with my husband, or hiking along the Greenbelt.
My main pursuit is to create beautiful and meaningful work. I chose the path of design because it stems from a desire for serving others by making a difference through thoughtful, innovative processes. I hope to assist my community with well-crafted systems that create clear and satisfying experiences.
